Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2014

I am currently a Graduate student at Mississippi College pursing a Masters in Medical Science. This program was designed to prepare students for medical school entrance. During the program you are given the opportunity to take courses that are compatible with the courses a first year medical student will take. The program is very rigorous however you are given the opportunity to learn an exceptional amount of information from a very qualified staff. The college is located in a rural area with very little opportunities for a social life which actually appealed to me because this offered no distractions giving me ample time to focus on my studies.

I am just starting the program so as far as I know from other students, I have to prepare to study all the time for the workload during the semester. The only con I really find is its lack of communication about announcements to students about important events/deadlines. There isn't an orientation for the graduate program so it makes it difficult to find out when the first day of class is, as well as other important information such as how to pick your classes.

My graduate program is great, I have ran into a "unique" teacher and I hope that as I continue on with my program that the other teachers will be better equipped that she. Other than the high cost of this college, I am quite pleased with it.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2014

The pros of the graduate program that I am in are that the courses require a lot of time and dedication to obtain a good grade. This program seems like it produces students who are well prepared for any school that they wish to apply to (medical or dental). The cons of this graduate program have to do with the transportation to the campus if the student lives far. There are not any buses available to get around town.

Degree: Public Relations
Graduation Year: 2014

The pros are the ability to relate to the growing work force. The professor are very helpful in simulating the work that will need to be done upon graduation. The school give a real-life portrayal of what is to be expected. The con would be the late response to e-mail.

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2014

Mississippi College School of Law is located in downtown Jackson, the capital of Mississippi. It's centrally located, so is easily accessible to the various courts and law firms, including in walking distance to the Capitol, which makes it ideal for any student who seeks to get experience while remaining close to the school. The school also has specialized clinics in various areas like bioethics issues, child advocacy and tax law, etc. making it easy for a student to specialize in areas of their interest. The only downside of the school is where it is located - Jackson, MS doesn't have the best crime rates.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2014

Mississippi College's graduate program is amazing. The department head is wonderful and the classes are small which helps to have a better relationship with the professor. The program is well suited for the working adult with classes being offering in the evening hours with the ability to take 2 classes in one night. The program does not offer the program online but does offer a few online courses.
