Degree: History
Graduation Year: 2014

Ohio University is overall a great place to earn a Master of Arts degree in history. The faculty pushes you and forces you to become a better writer and thinker. There is a lot of funding available for research trips and conference presentations. There is also a good variety of classes available to take.

Degree: Sociology
Graduation Year: 2012

The MA in Sociology program was great. All of the professors were knowledgeable, helpful, and invested in their students. I loved my cohort, the cohort before me, and those that I worked with. It was a challenging, yet attainable experience, and if I had to do it again, I absolutely would!

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

The Ohio University Professional MBA program has been a wonderful experience thus far. I never would have dreamed of how quickly I was able to apply my class learnings to my professional life. The program is designed perfectly to accommodate any professional experience level, there is always something that you can learn and apply to your daily life. The teaching staff have been extremely helpful and completely dedicated towards my development and success. The program is a hybrid program with half virtual learning and half in class learning, which provides the convenience and interaction that I am looking for. I am proud and excited to move forward in the program as the program has exceeded all of my expectations.

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)
Graduation Year: 2019

I completed my undergraduate nursing degree at Ohio University and have now continued on with them by pursuing my Family Nurse Practitioners Degree. My experience with Ohio University throughout my undergraduate degree was outstanding and convinced me to pursue my Masters degree with them as well. Being in an online program can make a student feel isolated and unsupported. However I felt exactly the opposite. I felt I had the freedom to work at my own pace with the reassuring knowledge that if I had questions or needed help with anything my instructor would be available. Coursework details were always put out on time with clear instructions making it simple for me to complete my assignments and feel confident. Instructors always respond in a timely manner and are eager to answer any and all questions and help in any way possible. The application and interview process for my graduate program were rigorous however every person I dealt with was very helpful and informative. My advisor consistently checks in with me to ensure I do not have any questions and let me know any pertinent information regarding school. Overall being an Ohio University undergraduate and graduate student has been nothing but wonderful.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2020

I really love my school. I currently study medicine at the Heritage College at Ohio U. and it has been a phenomenal experience. The staff is great and really cares for students to understand what they are teaching, as well as putting an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. If I were to choose again, I would still pick Ohio U.
