"If you have mega ADHD and the 16 week semester is as daunting as mount Everest, than the University of Denver is for you. The 10 week quarter is great! The University of Denver is a great school for bright students who went to public high schools that didn't prepare them well for college. The required general courses (i.e. writing, two social sciences and two arts and humanities, science etc.) really help prepare you for the rest of your college experience. They also help you find out what you are really interested in, not what you think will get you a job after graduation. At DU most of my courses ended up connecting with each other in one way or another. The class sizes are small (usually 15-30 students per class). Even in the largest classes of 60-70 students, the professor will often get to know your name. This school also has a lot of events and fun things to do. My favorite DU tradition was May Days, a week full of student programmed events and free stuff like midnight breakfast and tie dying t-shirts. The film committee shows recent films every Thursday night at 8pm in a big auditorium. The campus is beautiful with lots of green spaces. Our library was just renovated to have more study spaces and high tech study rooms. DU also help pay for airfare for study abroad! I really enjoyed my time at DU and would recommend it for undergraduate education to anyone and everyone!"

"I am very impressed with the Arts and Culture Program Management graduate program at the University of Denver. My professors are professions in the field and in the community. The classes are small and interactive. Furthermore, I am in a program for working adults and the availability of night classes as made my graduate education possible."

"An excellent graduate accounting degree that is attainable in 5 years. Career support and job placement is a major focus and the education is highly regarded as one of the best in the nation. I received a full-time job offer from a Big 4 accounting firm well over a year before I will be graduating. The campus has a great atmosphere, however the surrounding area can be expensive to live in. I love the University of Denver and would highly recommend it."

"The law program at University of Denver is innovative in its use of curriculum. It allows for opportunities to learn through experiential learning opportunities. The faculty is top notch, open with their students, and generally friendly. There is very little cultural diversity in the program, especially for having incoming class sizes that near 300 students. The Career Development Office is not very effective when it comes to assisting with job opportunities outside of the state of Colorado. This is not to paint the CDO in a negative light, but it should be noted that finding work opportunities will rest largely on the part of the student if they hope to find positions outside of Colorado."

"This is a relatively new program and an exciting field to be going into! The Disaster Psych program blends together the clinical aspects of trauma care with a more program evaluative focus; the core faculty are very invested in the students and it is structured to give students real experience, outside of the classroom."

"The Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver is a competitive atmosphere that allows students to discover their limits and define who they are as a professional. The helpful faculty are always willing to assist you and are helpful in calming those anxious feelings entering the program. Although there is a wide range of field placements, it seems that Advance Standing Students are at a disadvantage when entering the program to find a field placement. I am speaking from an out of state student who was unable to arrive to Denver until three weeks prior to school beginning."

"The cohort structure of our program (Professional MBA) makes the experience much richer and deepens the relationships and the network we're building. The faculty come from a variety of backgrounds and have great real world experiences that enhance the material we're learning."

"The DU Master of Accountancy program is very strong. The faculty are very supportive in helping students find a career and help however they can in the recruitment/job application process. This is a rigorous program but you learn so much, are prepared for the CPA exam and graduate with a job offer."

"The advantages of the DU Religious Studies program are the breadth of expertise in the traditions. The program is focused on providing students with a great overview and understanding of several of the world's religious traditions. Some of the drawbacks include the lack of career support for students who would like to go into another career outside of the academy."

"Great university with a diverse student population, faculty that care, and state-of-the-art technology and facilities. Private institution makes tuition extremely expensive. Financial aid is a must."

"My program is a rather unique multidisciplinary doctoral program. I am technically a student of two different schools and have access to a huge range of resources--two schools' worth of faculty, libraries, coursework, etc., to choose from. The program is highly academically rigorous and gives me the opportunity to study lots of things I am interested in. I love every minute of it."

"Incredible training and practical experience is built into the program- very valuable. I left feeling very prepared for future careers or additional education. The cons would be that it is highly expensive and there is not a lot of financial support available for this program."

"As a private school, the tuition is very expensive, but they are good in that they are pushing experiential learning, thus giving us practical experience that employers are looking for."
