Student & Graduate Reviews

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2018

The UNF Brooks College of Anesthesia program is a good program. It has done an excellent job at giving me the tools to be successful as a CRNA when I graduate next year. It has provided multiple clinical sites for a broad experience on how different sites do anesthesia differently. Upon graduation, UNF provides the fees for board certification as well as BLS/ACLS/PALS. At the end of the program, I will have exceeded the required number of hours to sit for the board.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2019

The University of North Florida is wonderful learning institution that is surrounded by beautiful nature trails in Northeast Florida. Having spent several years at the University, I have established meaningful relationships with faculty and have developed leadership skills that will benefit me throughout my entire career. The University of North Florida is a great school as it is committed to quality higher education curriculum, embracing diversity and evolving intellectual ideas. It's always great to step foot on campus as it feels like a second home.

Degree: History
Graduation Year: 2013

I loved college. Even though I lived off campus and did not join a sorority, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Find a major you love and you won't work a day in your life.

UNF is one of the best liberal arts colleges in the southeast.

Degree: Computer Science
Graduation Year: 2010

UNF is a good school. It's small, and the math department is really tiny, but that makes it a little more personal. It's also better cost wise than other schools.

Degree: Sports Management
Graduation Year: 2018

UNF is on a nature preserve in Jacksonville, Florida. The location doesn't get much better! Close to the beach, and downtown UNF campus is snuggled among one of the most beautiful nature preserves in the state. Programs are flexible, and the staff is wonderful!

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2019

The University of North Florida Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program has a fantastic reputation for raising competent, skilled, and passionate physical therapists. My short time at UNF only backs up the positive reviews that this program has previously received. From the dean to administrative staff, every individual that has a hand in the DPT Program are overly qualified for their position and are actively involved in helping mold the brightest and most well-rounded physical therapists possible. Since beginning the UNF DPT Program, not a day goes by where I am not thankful to be a part of what is happening there. I have yet had a single regret about my choice to attend this program. It should be at the top of any prospective DPT student's list.

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2009

I cannot say enough great things about the M.Ed. in School Counseling program at UNF. It has truly been the best educational experience I have ever had. The faculty challenged us, but were also very supportive which prepared us well for our work as school counselors. The cohort model was great for creating connections with my peers and developing a strong support network.

Fantastic support from faculty, all of whom are willing to share their networks and career advice. The internship program structured for maximum application of theory into practice. The program offers ,any opportunities to engage in community advocacy. An extremely high pass rate for the required CPCE National Exam.
