Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2016

The graduate program is greatly supported by entities closely related to itself. The counseling centers on campus not just service the surrounding community but the Hofstra community as well. In addition, the centers and institutions work together for the greater good of the purposes they serve, whether it be speech pathology, childcare, or marriage counseling. In addition to a great professors and mentors, the administrative staff all around campus are supportive; a true family.

Wonderful faculty and program, state of the art classrooms and work centers. The art therapy program just recently opened a gallery to host student art on the second floor of their building.

The staff is very helpful and accessible. Taking public transportation to the school, depending on where you live is a task. The students are helpful and want to see each other succeed. Professor Sample is possibly the schools most precious gem.

The best thing about this program is that you do not have to search internship by yourself. However, I would have prefer more selection in every semester.

It is very expensive to attend Hofstra University which is a major con. The pro is it is an up and coming speech pathology program.
