Flexibility and accessibility comparable for a working person.

Nova Southeastern University's graduate program is completely focused on making their students successful in their careers. The faculty and staff make themselves available to students at all convenient times for anything they may need. The program makes the transition from the didactic stage to the clinical phase easy for the students. The program has many more pros than cons, but one con is the size of the class 75-80 students which although faculty is available and willing to help the attention each student gets is somewhat limited.

Degree: Computer Science
Graduation Year: 2017

It is an excellent school, however very expensive and classes seem to be longer than they need to be. I would rather a more accelerated program only because I can be done much faster.

Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2014

I believe this is a great program. However, there is a low faculty to student ratio. The faculty is very disorganized and constantly make schedule or policy changes last minute. The program is very competitive, and a lot of students experience stress, and depression while being part of this program. The academic workload is very intense, and the faculty is not very helpful because they are always so busy. Nevertheless, this program provides excellent clinical training.

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2016

The pros of my graduate program highly out weigh the cons of the selected field; however, the cost of tuition is quite overwhelming due to my financial state. The pros of the graduate program is that it is a competitive profession and I'm allowed to obtain my masters degree online, the professors are remarkably dedicated and caring to helping their students, and I feel competent in the coursework that's provided

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2014

I love the opportunity to obtain my degree online from Nova Southeastern! I think that being able to "work with and attend class with" individuals all over the US allows me to really get a sense for what the real world career field will be like and opens my eyes to more than just what we do in my state. I wish that since I don't access any part of the physical campus that I wasn't charged the out of state tuition or all of the normal fees that the traditional students are charged. In my opinion if I'm providing my own resources (classroom, internet, technology, etc) then I shouldn't be paying lab fees and the cost of such things. Overall I'm very happy with my program and love the opportunities it is affording me and the career it is preparing me for.

Degree: Pharmacy
Graduation Year: 2018

The graduate program has great opportunities for research and community involvement. The professors have a diverse range of backgrounds. The only negative is the high tuition of this program.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

The program provides plenty of lessons offering real world insight and opportunities for collaborating with other students. The doctoral program is very challenging.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2016

Nova Southeastern University offers this great program with lots of support from professors and students. I am excited and happy that I am going to study this new field that is now in a growing demand. I can apply my knowledge from IT management and health care.
